The operating system for modern RIAs. IPS drift monitoring, tax intelligence, meeting prep, firm-wide compliance — plus a Claude Desktop integration so you can ask your book anything in plain English.
The everyday work — analysis, narrative, deliverable — automated end-to-end.
Upload any custody export. Concentration, model alignment, diversification, risk flags, drawdown history, sequence-of-returns, correlation — computed in seconds across every account.
Structured analyst narrative grounded in your portfolio's own numbers. Plus an in-app chat that can answer cross-portfolio questions — "show me every client whose drift exceeded their IPS band this quarter."
Professional letter-format reports with full analysis, risk flags, model alignment, recommendations, and AI commentary. Plus published methodology your CFA reviewers can read.
Six modules built around an integrated data graph — IPS, drift events, audit log, client reviews, alts, and activity all interoperate. The moat isn't any single feature; it's how they connect. And now your Altruist book flows in live.
Authorise once and Axfolio pulls households, accounts, positions, tax lots, and transactions directly from Altruist — refreshed on demand, idempotent on re-sync, with auto-routing of new accounts to the right advisor. Schwab and Fidelity next.
Author per-client IPSs with target allocations and drift bands. Every breach writes a timestamped, immutable audit-trail entry — your SEC compliance moat from detected through supervisor signed-off.
Nineteen deterministic signals scanned across every client, every day. Concentration, cash drag, IPS drift, tax-loss harvesting, RMD deadlines, wash-sale risk, stale alt valuations — flagged before clients notice and triaged into a daily action queue.
One screen for the managing partner: AUM trend, compliance posture, advisor capacity, attention queue, and supervisor sign-off. Plus Ask Atlas — a firm-level chat that answers cross-domain questions in plain English.
Risk metrics, drawdown episodes, rolling returns, sequence-of-returns, correlation matrix. Monte Carlo with allocation glide path and JP Morgan LTCMA forward-guidance toggle — block bootstrap when data permits.
Institutional-grade portfolio optimization: Ledoit-Wolf covariance shrinkage, Black-Litterman-style mean blending toward JPM LTCMA, real quadratic-program solver. Methodology published — every assumption inspectable.
Per-client tax position — unrealized G/L, harvestable losses, YTD realized activity — plus a 90-day tax calendar of RMD deadlines, estimated payments, K-1 windows and cap-gains distributions. Ranked TLH opportunities with IRC §1091 wash-sale checks built in.
One call assembles seven slices of context — snapshot, signals, IPS, upcoming events, expected income, last-review status, planning documents — and Claude formats a five-section briefing ready to drop into your meeting notes. The killer feature for the 9am meeting at 9:00.
Voice-trained monthly portfolio letters that sound like you wrote them. Upload past memos as reference; the engine matches tone, length and sign-off across every client. Drafts route through draft → approved → sent with an immutable lifecycle audit trail.
Drop a private-fund quarterly statement or K-1 PDF and Claude extracts NAV, IRR, TVPI, distributions and per-period cash flows into structured records. Append-only version history per holding; pending verifications surface in the daily digest.
IRA, taxable, 401(k), trusts — uploaded separately, viewed together. Per-account analysis plus a true household ALL view, with documents and AI summaries attached. Built for clients with multiple accounts and cross-border holdings.
Connect Claude Desktop with your Axfolio API key. The entire 25-tool surface — every read endpoint, every write action — appears in Claude's tool menu. Ask Claude what you'd otherwise click through six screens to find.
"Prep me for my 10am with Sarah Chen."
Claude returns a 5-section briefing — snapshot, signals, IPS drift, upcoming events, agenda — in 30 seconds.
"Who's overdue for an annual review?"
Every client past the 365-day mark, sorted by how overdue they are. One follow-up adds "and who's never been reviewed?"
"What's the firm's harvestable loss right now?"
Firm-wide total, ranked by client, with TLH opportunities pre-checked against the IRC §1091 wash-sale window.
Setup is one config snippet. Read-only tools are unrestricted; the three write tools — memo generation, memo updates, voice samples — always trigger Claude's confirmation prompt before they run. Every call lands on the audit log, scoped to your firm, billed against your existing rate limits.
Every report includes the full analysis stack — no reformatting, no copying from spreadsheets.
Solo and small-team advisors who don't have dedicated analysts — and shouldn't have to hire one just to produce consistent portfolio reporting.
Growing firms where the bottleneck is analyst capacity, not client relationships. Axfolio lets your advisors do more reviews without adding headcount.
Firms that need consistent, auditable portfolio reviews and SEC Rule 206(4)-7 chain of custody — every IPS breach timestamped, resolved, and supervisor-signed off in one immutable trail.
"The commentary alone would save my team three hours a week. That's three hours we'd spend actually talking to clients."
"I reviewed a portfolio in 45 seconds that usually takes me a morning to write up. The risk flags caught something I would have missed."
"Finally something that's actually built for how we work — CSV in, report out, no ten-step setup process."
I grew up in New York City and have spent my career at the intersection of technology, business, and creative problem solving — from co-founding a commercial sound production company in Soho to leading technology strategy for consulting firms working with clients like BNP Paribas. Along the way, I developed a deep interest in finance and spent years studying the wealth management industry from the outside, earning my SIE license and building relationships with practicing advisors.
That obsession eventually led me to found Axfolio — a portfolio intelligence platform processing $2B+ in capital for independent RIA firms. I hold a bachelor's in economics from Allegheny College and believe the most interesting problems sit at the edge of industries that have gone unchanged for too long.
We're onboarding a limited number of RIA firms this quarter as design partners — full platform access, methodology review, and direct input into the roadmap. Request access and we'll reach out within 48 hours.
No commitment. No credit card. We'll reach out personally.
